As this blog was written in early May, 2020, every house shifting or office relocation needs movement pass as mandatory rule in order to have the packers and movers in Gurgaon or nearby areas including Delhi, Faridabad, Noida, Gaziabad or any other city like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata.
Moving Within Gurgaon ?
If you want to move within Gurgaon then you will have to obtain the movement pass from the authority and the procedure is given below:
Step 1. Discuss the office or house shifting with any packers and movers service provider of your choice in Gurgaon and get quotes for your relocation.
Step 2. If you are OK with the pricing/quote , then ask for a Vehicle and RC number, numbers of professionals coming to deliver the service including their name and ages.
Step 3. Go to Saral Haryana website and apply for a movement pass after filling relevant information. Please note that you would require a Vehicle & RC number here to fill. Below is the sample movement pass obtained from one of our customers (we removed personal details to protect privacy)
Step 4. Once a movement pass is obtained, get approval from both side RWA or similar associations so that the house or office relocation process becomes seamless.
Moving Outside Gurgaon ?
If you want to relocate from Gurgaon to another State, you would need a movement pass from the Government authority where the drop location is. For example, you want to relocate from Gurgaon to Hyderabad, for this, you need to get a movement pass from Gurgaon (details given above) and another pass from Hyderabad authority in Telangana from this website.
The details of websites of any state can be obtained from the Government of India website specifically designed for this purpose.
We understand the difficulties you are facing at this time but we also urge you to move to a different place only if it is urgent. Please apply for the movement pass with your valid reason so that the person who is in dire need than us gets the approval first.
